Key Info

Departures

Our Safaris depart from the Wellington i-SITE Visitor Centre at 10.00am and 1.30pm daily. Each Safari lasts for three hours, and we will drop you back at the Visitor Centre at the end.

We operate 364 days of the year (closed Christmas Day unless agreed prior).

Pick-Ups

Free central city accommodation pick-ups are available for the morning Safari. If you would like to take advantage of this service, please let us know when you book.

Please note, afternoon pick-ups are more difficult for us as there isn't much time between the morning Safari returning and the afternoon Safari departing.

Travelling with children?

We have a baby seat and a booster seat which are available for your use while on the Safari at no extra cost. If you would like to request either of these child restraints please let us know when you book. You are also welcome to bring along your own child restraint if you wish.

Weather

We're often asked if we cancel the Safari in bad weather or if the experience is going to be any less exciting, but we conduct our Safaris in all types of weather! While we don't cancel the tour for bad weather, it may lead to slight route changes on the day but don't worry, you'll still have a great time and you will still see those adorable fur seals - we guarantee it!
